The “J.Chein” logo is prevalent everywhere (see images) indicating “Made in U.S.A.” manufacture and J. Chein & Co. designer and maker—-not a knock off.
I have been collecting and dealing toys for over 40 years and this is the best example of this set I have seen.
The condition is excellent plus with no restoration or touch up paint of any kind;
no fading—the colors are bright and crisp; and the lithographs of animals are sharp and completely intact. All in all, this is a rare find, locating all four pieces together, and then to have them in such nice condition.

Note: The measurements stated in this “description” of each individual piece are accurate; the “overall” 14″ x 14″ x 8″ stated in the “heading” is for shipping purposes.

Note: After 40 plus years of dealing and collecting toys and children’s playthings, I am justly qualified to guarantee and present the authenticity of antique and vintage toys; important considering the fakes and reproductions in the marketplace
