Unmarked 1930’s, probably American, brightly lithographed wind-up racing car toy with figural driver; in excellent condition, this toy was made to capitalize on the popularity of race cars and car racing in both Europe and the United States. Lithographed in colors of red, silver, and black and streamlined decor; manufactured at 13″ long, this was one of the larger tin race car toys of the period. The toy works great; upon winding up the attached key lever on the side and releasing the car on the ground, it will go quite a ways (UPON REQUEST: be sure to see the short 10 second video accompanying the listing).
The tin race car is in all original condition with absolutely no repaint, no touch-up, and no restoration of any kind.
Dimensions: 13″ long x 5″ wide x 4 1/4″ high
